This Cookie Policy explains how Villanote, operated by Jedro Labs LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies (like local storage) work the same way. We use them to keep the Service working and to remember a few preferences.
How we use them
- Strictly necessary - sign-in and session cookies for hosts
(
access_token, the short-livedverify_pending,mfa_pendingandsudocookies during sign-in and sensitive actions, andvn_property, which remembers which of your properties you are editing); for guests, one cookie per guide that remembers an entered passcode. The Service cannot work without these. - Functional / preferences - the guest page keeps the guest's chosen language and the sections they opened in the browser's local storage, so the guide opens where they left it. Nothing is sent to us.
We use no analytics or advertising cookies. Guide opens are counted on our own servers without cookies or identifiers. We do not use cookies to sell personal data or to build advertising profiles.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from being able to sign in, and guests from opening a passcode-protected guide.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above shows when.
