Why I built this

I built Villanote for my own place. I am a host too, and every guest is different: one wants the boiler explained, the next asks where to park at midnight, most of them in a language that is not mine. Writing it all down once, in their language, changed the stays. Guests now tell me it was the smoothest check-in they ever had, and I get thank-you messages instead of questions at 11 pm. This is that guide, for your place.

Questions

Is it really free?

Yes - one property on Free, forever, with its own link and QR code. Paid plans add more properties, your own branding, unlimited languages and full analytics.

Do I need a card to start?

No. You sign up with just an email, and all of Pro is on for 14 days with no card. Add one only if you choose a paid plan - Free needs no card, ever.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel whenever you like - you keep everything until the end of the period you paid for. We never delete your guides.

What happens to my guides if I move to a smaller plan?

Nothing is deleted. If you have more properties than the new plan includes, the newest extra guides go offline until you upgrade or remove them.

Do you store my card?

No. Payments are handled by Stripe, our merchant of record - your card details never touch our servers. We only store a reference to your subscription.

Where is my data hosted?

In Frankfurt, Germany (Render and Neon). Photos are stored with Cloudinary. Your guests' guide pages carry no trackers - opens are counted, never profiled.

Annual plans have a money-back guarantee; monthly plans cancel any time and run to the end of the month. Details in our Refund Policy.
